Leland Wine and Food Festival – June 13, 2020 (Cancelled)

It’s with great disappointment that we announce that the 35th annual Leland Wine and Food Festival scheduled for Saturday, June 13th has been canceled due to circumstances surrounding Covid-19 Coronavirus. This is the first time since the festival began in 1986 that we haven’t joined together in celebration of fabulous Leelanau wines and delicious foods on the second Saturday in June, and we’re already planning on our best Wine Fest yet in 2021!

We would like to extend our gratitude to our incredible volunteer planning committee, our sponsors, local wineries, food vendors, musicians and artists who have been so understanding and supportive throughout this process, and to all of our Wine Fest attendees, many of which attend faithfully year after year!

For those of you who have already purchased your tickets, please note you can expect to see a refund in 7-14 business days.

Social distancing and shelter in place are difficult for all of us. Luckily, many area wineries who had planned to participate in the Leland Wine and Food Festival are offering special deals on shipping, offering curbside pick, hosting virtual tastings and more to ensure great wine can be had by all during these difficult times.

The 35th annual Leland Wine & Food Fest may be on hold until next year, but you can still get some great Leelanu wine and Wine Fest glasses at The Leland Lodge today! See you for Wine Fest 2021! 🥂🥂🥂During a normal year our crew would be packing up our coolers and the smoker and heading to the Leland Harbor for Leland Wine Festival. As we all know, this is far from a normal year however, and like many things the 35th annual Leland Wine & Food Fest has been postponed until next year. That said, we’ve got a plethora of Wine Fest glasses from our sponsorships over the years so we’re hosting our own mini Wine Fest at the Lodge! Head up the hill for a flight of Leelanau County wines including Blustone Vineyards Riesling, Blackstar Farms Rosé (It’s National Rosé Day btw 💕) & Boathouse Vineyards Pinot Noir. Flights are $14 and include the glassware! Come celebrate with us and toast to Leland Wine & Food Festival 2021 - doors open at 4! 🥂 ... See MoreSee Less

Wine Fest deal from Good Harbor Vineyards ! Because even though we can’t be together this year, we can still drink Leelanau wine together!

See you for Wine Fest 2021!We know you can't attend the Leland Wine and Food Festival this year, but you can still celebrate at home with Good Harbor Fishtown White or Harbor Red!

This year would have been the 34th year of the Leland Wine and Food Festival — however, like many events this year, it was cancelled due to COVID-19. The wine festival is the longest running wine festival in the state of Michigan. Created by the founder of Good Harbor, Bruce Simpson, the festival is of great importance to not only Good Harbor Vineyards, but the town of Leland and historic Fishtown, where the festival has taken place for the last 33 years. We will certainly miss seeing the crowds of people enjoying our wine and the wines of so many wonderful Michigan wineries, but understand that it is for the general public's safety. We are hopeful that we will return next year to see you and crowds of happy people drinking, eating, and dancing to the sounds from wonderful bands. 🕺🌮🍷

In order to make sure people are still able to enjoy our iconic Fishtown White and Harbor Red on the day of the previously scheduled Leland Wine and Food Festival, Saturday, June 13th, we are offering $10 flat rate shipping on full case purchases of Fishtown White and Harbor Red. You are also able to mix and match both wines to equal a full case (12 bottles) and take advantage of the $10 flat rate shipping. In addition to the shipping savings, you receive a 15% discount when you purchase a full case. 👉 Wine Club members always receive a 20% discount (it's free and easy to join!).
