The Michigan PGA is celebrating the 31st Anniversary of the Michigan Women\u2019s Open. This year will mark 22 years the premier event has been held on Mountain Ridge at Crystal Mountain. The 3-round tournament begins Monday, June 24 and wraps up with the championship round and award ceremony on Wednesday, June 26. The event is free for spectators!<\/p>\n
This 54-hole, stroke play event is open to past, present and aspiring professional female golfers. The starting field will consist of a maximum of 144 contestants, competing for a $40,000 purse. If there are more than 78 players teeing off in round one, the field will be cut to low 70 and ties after 36 holes. There will be no cut if there are 78 players or less in round one.<\/p>\n
Registration for the event is open on the MI PGA website<\/a> . The entry fee is $265 and the deadline to sign-up is June 12, 2024 at 5pm.
