This performance is sponsored by the Glen Arbor Art Association\u2019s Manitou Music Festival. The concert is free. Reservations are not required. A goodwill offering will be taken, proceeds from which will be directed to the Leelanau School arts program and future Manitou Winds recording projects.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s program features songs of Advent, Winter Solstice, and Christmas intertwined with readings of poetry and prose. Manitou Winds is comprised of five musicians playing 12 different instruments to create a collage of music textures and styles. Joining the Manitou Winds are guest vocalists Christy Burich and Emily Curtin Culler.<\/p>\n<p>More than a concert filled with holiday-themed music, \u201cWinter Songs &amp; Carols\u201d explores a holiday season enriched by many traditions.
