Winter Microbrew and Music Festival – February 10, 2018

The 9th Annual Winter Microbrew & Music Festival has relocated to Historic Mount Mancelona where you are invited to celebrate in a New Michigan Nature & Backcountry Festival Setting and Unique Weekend of Activities

2 PM – 8 PM

This year’s festivities will take place on February 10, 2018, at Mount Mancelona, a historic ski hill, and lodge that sits just over a mile north of Mancelona, Michigan. This festival will offer unique activities from snowshoeing to the top for a rare tasting brewer tent to professional snowboard and ski aerial viewing while guests warm up around the giant bonfires and heated tents. There will be fewer tickets and a more intimate atmosphere but will again feature the great music and tasty brews you’ve come to expect from this award-winning music and food festival.

Cheers!

Skunk Bear
Happy International Beer Day! People have brewed beer with yeast found in a Patagonian forest, in the hold of a sunken ship, even in a man's beard. When we heard about a beer brewed with yeast taken off the bones of an ancient whale, we were inspired to create this toast to evolution, life, and a refreshing cold one.

wish I had an answer . . . I'd bring my 7 year old daughter!

That's a 1962 American Beverage zip top can.

Identify? It's a beer... Do I win?

OMG we used to drink Olympia beer in our 20's! ( the 80's) We even had t-shirts with a horse shoe and water fall. They even sold Olympia balls , they were like kegs. but round. very portable with tappers. I think we still have a tapper.lol

Yup that's mine, beer can about yay big, empty, says Olympia on it, a little rusty. Lost it in the woods about thirty years ago. Thanks for finding it.

Ahhh yes...memories of cheap beer and high school. It was what you drank after a 6 pack of the good stuff or when you were broke. 😳

I went to Olympia for Christmas one year and got to see the old brewing building. Loved olympia

How did it end up in Michigan?

It looks to me like you've got a Little Oly my friend

When I did roller skiing a while ago, we used to play soccer on roller skis to wrap-up our training sessions:)
