Created by the Benzie Sunrise Rotary Club and hosted by Crystal Mountain for the last 16 years, Benzie Sunrise Rotary’s Bike Benzie Tour is an annual charity ride for the benefit of area youth.
Routes
There are three routes to choose from, which start and end at Crystal Mountain.
28-Mile Course: The 28-mile route travels north out of the resort east to Beulah and circles back. It will have a food stop at the Betsie Valley trailhead building in Beulah.
46-Mile Course: The 46-mile bike tour travels west and north to the village of Elberta, then takes the Betsie Valley Trail to Beulah. The route continues east to and south to the resort. It has two food stops.
62-Mile Course: The 62-mile route follows the 46-mile route to Elberta, but then heads north along M22, through the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, eventually south through Honor, and back to Crystal Mountain. It will have two food stops.
Maps will be provided and all routes will be patrolled by support vehicles who can assist in the case of an emergency or the need to return to Crystal Mountain. A single phone number will be shared at the time of registration. Opening times for food stops will be posted at registration.
The Michigan PGA is celebrating the 31st Anniversary of the Michigan Women’s Open. This year will mark 22 years the premier event has been held on Mountain Ridge at Crystal Mountain. The 3-round tournament begins Monday, June 24 and wraps up with the championship round and award ceremony on Wednesday, June 26. The event is free for spectators!
This 54-hole, stroke play event is open to past, present and aspiring professional female golfers. The starting field will consist of a maximum of 144 contestants, competing for a $40,000 purse. If there are more than 78 players teeing off in round one, the field will be cut to low 70 and ties after 36 holes. There will be no cut if there are 78 players or less in round one.
Registration for the event is open on the MI PGA website . The entry fee is $265 and the deadline to sign-up is June 12, 2024 at 5pm. Host Housing is available to players only, and there is also a 15% discount for players interested in Crystal Mountain accommodations.

Our maze design is changed each year and information contained within the maze reflects this design. Plan on being entertained for as long as two hours as you navigate the trails. This A-MAZE-ING adventure opens in late August and runs all the way through October.

1pm: Register your kids for the Tour De Tykes Races at the Mountain Adventure Zone! Future Peak2Peak Mountain Bike racers are invited to participate in the annual Tour de Tykes or our newly added Tour de Traxs.
2pm: Younger racers (ages 6 and under) can take part in the Tour de Tiny Tykes. Be sure to pre-register at the Mountain Adventure Zone.
2:30pm: The Tour de Tykes race is for racers aged 7-12 years old. Be sure to pre-register at the Mountain Adventure Zone.
All participants receive medals and are sure to have a great time!
Tour de Traxs (ages 8+)
3:30pm: This race is for young, enthusiastic riders ready for a challenge! Racers ages 8 + will start and finish at the Peak2Peak gate. This single lap, 5-mile course will challenge young Mountain Bikers to push their limits. Finisher medals for all racers and place medals to the top three overall. Just $20 per racer!

Join us for the Thirteenth Annual Traverse City Zombie Run, October 30th, 2021. We’re Ba-ack, and we can’t wait to see your gruesome faces! Over the years we’ve seen zombies from all walks of life, or should we say death. Who or what will show up this year? The one thing we are sure of is that you’ll have a great time! Right Brain Brewery will be hosting the run as always.
Zombies and beer have always been a winning combination, and after 2020 a beer or two is well deserved! Make sure to stick around after the race for the medal ceremony, costume prizes, music, post race refreshments, and most of all zombie socializing!
