Crystal Mountain is proud to host the U.S. Ski Team / NASTAR Pacesetting Trials with former Olympic and World Cup ski racer, Daron Rahlves, as the regional NASTAR pacesetter.
Crystal Mountain will provide resort pacesetters a complimentary open-to-close lift ticket and race entry. Pacesetters earn three certified handicaps: GS Coat Handicap, GS Race Suit Handicap, and Slalom Handicap.
Spectators are welcome! It’s your chance to watch great skiing as top skiers from resorts throughout the Midwest set a blistering pace down the Cheers slope in preparation for the 2016/17 NASTAR racing season.
Cheers will be closed to the public from 9am-4:30pm on Monday, December 19, 2016.

Just in time for holiday shopping, 22 of some of TC’s best known writers will speak and sign books at the TC Author Next Door Book Expo. It will be held at the Inside Out Gallery on Saturday, Dec. 19, from noon to 5:30 p.m. The event is free of charge and the authors will talk throughout the afternoon on a wide range of writing and publishing topics. Some plan to read poems or excerpts from their books.

Lesson includes ticket to Totem Park but can trade up to a day lift ticket (Open-4:30pm or 1pm-Close) for only $10! Valid December 20, 2016 only. Rentals are an additional $10 for the day.

Celebrated around the world on Christmas Eve, the Feast of Seven Fishes is known as La Vigilia, Italian for “The Vigil” in wait of the midnight Christmas birth.
A Southern Italian tradition, the menu consists of fish and pasta with a fasting from meat for the Roman Catholic holiday.
The numerology represents the seven sacraments and seven days of creation.
Chef Piombo offers his interpretation of this celebrated meal albeit one week early, putting history and tradition together on one table with his favorite seven fishes.
