Harvest Stompede

This annual weekend kicks off the fall harvest season along the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail featuring crisp and bright cool-climate wines and culinary delights that reflect the season’s bounty. This exciting fall event includes a self-guided tour along the trail, where you’re free to visit any of the 27 participating wineries in any order you choose on both Saturday and Sunday.

Ticket Information:
Tickets are $40 and include a souvenir wine glass, along with a featured wine and small bite food pairing at all 27 participating wineries. After your featured pairing, most wineries offer an additional complimentary 2 tastes. Purchase your tickets by selecting a starting winery where you will check-in to the event and pick up your supplies before charting your own course to participating wineries in any order you choose. Tickets are good for both Saturday and Sunday. Designated Driver tickets are available for $20 and include the small bites.

Don’t want to drive?

Find a willing friend and purchase an additional designated driver ticket for just $20. Your driver can still enjoy the food pairings while he/she takes you from winery to winery. You can also take your food and wine tour via bus or limo by contacting one of our transportation partners. We encourage you to contact them PRIOR to purchasing your tickets and a starting point. Chateau Chantal – ‘The Michigan Project’ Exhibition – September 12, 2015

'The Michigan Project' ExhibitionJoin us in welcoming Michigan artist, Blaine Siesser, this Saturday while enjoying our award winning wines & spectacular views.

Blaine has been working on ‘The Michigan Project’ for approximately 3 years & is unveiling the final results here at Chateau Chantal. His expertly produced high end photographic images showcase the amazing ecological diversity of our state.

Blaine’s images have been used by fortune five hundred companies & his prints enjoyed by Forbes list members. In 2013 Blaine began a project to explore & photograph Michigan in a way that’s never been done before; not only in the grand format of 8×10, but visually in a way that explores its ecological diversity through subtle landscape views.

Since beginning the photographic journey Blaine has driven thousands of miles, spent weeks scouting hundreds of locations so he can share the best Michigan has to offer.

His attention to quality, subtle style & perspective presents a Michigan that is easily overlooked, diverse, elegant, serene & uncommonly graceful; a depiction and categorization of the state rarely photographed or declared.

For those who would like to participate but aren’t interested in tackling a triathlon there is the Betsie Bay Walk, this fun non-timed 2.5 mile walk may be the perfect fit!
