We are pleased to announce the 5th Annual Paella in The Park on Friday, August 15.
Food and Wine Pairing
This year our Executive Chef Lauren, will be spearheading the preparation of paella. Several different varieties will be available, and all are sure to be delicious!
We are excited to present Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula with professional wine pairings. A good pairing of wine and food can bring out the textures and flavors of both the wine and the meal, greatly improving the dining experience.
We will take into account the ingredients in the paella, as well as the acidity, texture, sweetness, bitterness, and alcohol of the wine to create truly amazing pairings. The right wine can enhance any meal, and paired with the paella will surely create a meal to be remembered.
Our Farm-to-Table dining series brings the fresh flavors of northern Michigan to the Thistle Pub & Grille the third weekend of each month, May through September.
Our chefs work with local farms, making personal visits to many of them, to build a custom three-course menu.
Our Farm-to-Table series is a clear example of Crystal Mountain’s commitment to the sustainability of the local food movement and the role that our restaurants play in it.
