$5 KHQ Wednesdays - $5 Lift Tickets from 5-9pm. Ski & Snowboard Rentals $12 from 5pm-9pm, $20 from 9am-5pm. Tubing is $5/per hour from 4-9pm, ski all day (9am-5pm) for only $10.
Friends & Family Thursdays - The more tickets you buy as a group, the less they are! Day lift tickets start at $20 each, night lift tickets start at $12 each, rental specials and more!

The Antrim Ski Academy equipment & clothing sale is our biggest fundraiser of the year and the proceeds go towards funding our scholarship program and helping to support the Elk Rapids and Bellaire/Central Lake/Mancelona high school ski teams.
Additionally this season a portion of the proceeds will go to The Volunteers for Bruce, to help offset the costs involved in a kidney transplant from Don Hicks to Bruce Lockwood.
Drop off equipment Friday night. Sale on Saturday from 9am-5pm.

Michael Moore, renowned director of the movie SiCKO, has chosen the village of Bellaire, Michigan, to host the US premiere of his new film, Capitalism: A Love Story. The premiere is a fundraiser for the Antrim County’s Democratic Party.
There will be wonderful brunch type food at the first Lulu’s party and delicious lunch type food at the second Lulu’s party.
The Shorts Brewing Co. party will feature 4 of their beers on tap (Your ticket will include one beer or soda. The rest will be cash bar) There will also be hardy appetizers with ice tea and water.

Available for skiers and boarders ages 9-69. Valid all day on every open Sunday, including holidays. Please note, non-holiday Sunday hours of operation are from

College Pass $199
Available to all college students. Must present a valid college ID, driver’s license and proof of 12 credits or more for the current semester, at time of issuance.
MSIA 4th Grade Passport Pass $109
Shanty Creek encourages all past participants in MSIA’s 4th Grade Passport program (ages 9-12) to continue to ski and/or board. Passes must be purchased by 11/25/09 and sale completion is subject to past participant verification.

Fall Festival - Saturday, October 17, 2009
Fall Color Tours
Take the shuttle to the top of Schuss Mountain for cider and donuts and an amazing view of the fall colors.
1-3pm; free.

Haunted Woods
The trail is going to be bigger and better this year! $5 for adults, $3 for kids 10-12 years old. Not recommended for children under 10. 8-10pm in Schuss Village.

Elk Rapids Harbor Days celebration has been a popular event in northern Michigan for over 50 years. Families of all ages can enjoy the abundant activities provided throughout the 4-day event.
The entertainment begins on Wednesday evening with the much-anticipated Evening On River Street. Enjoy a street fair atmosphere with a cornucopia of sights and sounds to satisfy your appetite for food, music and entertainment.
The days following include activities geared to the young and old alike, sandcastle building, outstanding musical entertainment, delicious food at the Community Dinner, a carnival, Kids Day activities and so much more.
The Harbor Days celebration culminates on Saturday with a parade down the streets of town with local dignitaries, floats, bands, and of course Miss Elk Rapids! 
Enjoy the rest of the day participating in all of the events and then wind down for the evening in time to watch the fireworks display.
Harbor Days is traditionally known to have one of the best fireworks displays in northern Michigan, provided by world famous Zambelli’s pyrotechnics.
